Trekking
Nepal is one of the best destinations in the world for trekking. It is a land of scenic grandeur and cultural diversity. Trekking is the best way to know the people, places and culture very closely. A network of well-managed trails throughout the trekking places would easily connect you with the numerous villages of Nepal. Treks in Nepal can be of two types -a short trek and a long trek. A short trek will reveal picturesque hamlets surrounded by elaborate terraced fields and forested ridges. A long trek may yield rich contrasts in people and culture from one ecological level to another.

Trekking Regions
Everest Region
Everest (8848m), the SAGARMATHA or CHOMOLUNGMA is magic in itself. The region has gained its popularity in the name of trekking, expedition and peak climbing. The trekking route to the Everest Region penetrates through the highest wildlife reserve in the world, the Sagarmatha National Park (2845m -8848m. UNESCO listed the park in the list of World Heritage Site in 1979 due to its unique, natural, cultural and geological characteristics. It is a remarkable experience to trek in this region.
Annapurna Region
The Annapurna region lies toward the north of Central Nepal. The region is well known for the most dramatic natural scenery, deep valleys, gorge, high mountain passes, and sub-tropical to alpine vegetation, Buddhist monasteries, Muktinath Temple, villages, ethnic people, their culture and lifestyle. The region consists of Annapurna peaks, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurnas I, II, III & IV, Kali Gandaki River and several climbing peaks.
Langtang Region
Langtang lies to the north of Katmandu near the Tibetan border. The Langtang valley is also called "the valley of glaciers". The region holds mountain peaks such as the Langtang Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Langshisa, and Gonja La Pass. The scenic holy village of Tarkegyang is famous in the region. There are also high mountains of solid ice.
Non Touristy Region
These treks are suitable for serious trekkers who dare to venture "the road less traveled". As the name suggests these treks lead you to remote regions of Nepal and few tourists only trek these parts and these are the newly opened trekking route. These long duration treks covering routes of high elevation are physically demanding.
Restricted Area Trek
Restricted area treks will give you the opportunity to experience mountains and cultures where the special permit is required to do this trekking. Normally in these routes we need to do a camping trek, as no lodge or tea houses on this route. In October 1991 the Government of Nepal announced the opening of some restricted area.
Short and Easy Treks
We hearty welcome and offer short and easy treks that gratify the interest, timeframe and physical limitations of people of all ages. Even grandparents and children will have the opportunity to explore the wonders of trekking. As these treks cover routes of low elevations you can throw out your fears of high altitude sickness.
Far Eastern Region Trek
The far east region of Nepal provides unique treks along rarely visited trails. One of the main attractions is the spectacular scenery of rhododendrons in bloom on the hills and ridges along the way. Deer and wild sheep are often spotted in the area and birds are found in abundance. The region is home to ethnic groups of Kirant, notably the Rais and Limbus.

The diversity in Nepal's nature and a range of exotic culture makes this country ideal for trekking.
