The Annapurna circuit with tilicho lake trek is one of the most breathtaking route hikes in the whole wide world. It is a classic Annapurna Circuit trek that includes the ever more beautiful glacial lake, Tilicho lake. Trekking begins with an excursion to Dharapani via lowland rice fields, gradually increasing in elevation as we follow the Marsyangdi River. It ultimately emerges at Manang (3597 m) into a high-altitude barren land after passing through woods of oak and pine. Treks around tilicho lake and the Annapurna Circuit provide breathtaking vistas of the snowy Himalayas as well as a charming community with a diverse population from many ethnic backgrounds. We have altered this itinerary because it essentially follows the same path as the Annapurna Circuit.
Starting in Chame, we proceed to the primary valley to the west, passing through Khangsar Village and ascending to tilicho lake. From there, we trek to Yak Kharka and ascend to the 5,416-meter Thorong la ( Thorong La) pass. The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake trek provides a close-up view of practically all of the peaks in the Annapurna area, including the eighth-highest peak, Manaslu. This trek gives both picturesque scenery and the strange up-close views of the exquisite Annapurna Sierra. Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass, two of the trek’s great viewpoints, provide a wonderful view of the Annapurna Himalayan Range. From these two locations, other nearby mountains including Khangsar Peak, Muktinath Peak, Himlung Himal at 7,126 meters, Nilgiri at 7,061 meters, and Tilicho Peak at 7,134 meters are still completely visible.

We board a public bus at the bus park, which takes us via the Dumre-Besisahar-Chame Route to the municipality of Besisahar. Traveling the 176 miles between Besisahar and Kathmandu takes around six hours. Getting out of the metropolitan area takes around one hour alone. We pause for lunchtime and a brief break at Besisahar.
We will also require a change to our mode of transportation at this point. Now that the roads are becoming more narrow and uneven, we will be switching from a bus to a Jeep. It’s crucial that we depart from Besisahar since we have a lengthy road ahead of us.
Even though Chame is just 66 kilometers away, getting there will take about six hours due to the poor quality of the local roads. A picturesque village within Manang district, awaits you at the conclusion of this rocky, backbreaking journey.
