Trip Overview

The nation of Nepal is an amazing melting pot where several ethnic communities thrive and live together in peace. Although the country is divided into 3 plains, and thousands of castes, the people here set their differences aside and came together as one. Every year, hundreds of thousands of tourists visit Nepal to experience the culture of the Nepalese people. Whether the visitors go trekking or roam around cities, the main idea is to experience the culture of the people and be a part of it even if it lasts only a short time. There are several locations that most travelers like visiting; the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal are the city of Pokhara, Kathmandu, Lumbini, Chitwan, and Chitwan National Park.

Our Cultural Nepal Tour itinerary starts in the Kathmandu Valley with visits to absolutely stunning sites such as Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath, and the Durbar Squares. From there, we continue the tour to the cities of Chitwan and Pokhara. You will travel early in the early hours from Pokhara to Sarangkot to witness the Annapurna range at dawn which is an incredible sight to see. After we are done with with sunrise, we will explore Phewa Lake and have a leisurely stroll along the shore of the lake. We will take you to Sauraha Chitwan the next day to enjoy activities like bird viewing, canoeing, a jungle walk, and a jungle safari.

Trip Information of Nepal Cultural Tour

Best Seasons

Full autumn (September through November) and spring (March through May) are the ideal times to go on a cultural trip to Nepal. These times of year are perfect for visiting Nepal’s historical monuments and cultural treasures since they have the best weather. In towns like Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, you may visit historic buildings, monasteries, and old temples as you discover Nepal’s deep cultural legacy throughout these times of year. In a number of rural areas, you may also encounter the customs and friendliness of the Nepalese people.

Accommodation, Foods & Drinks

On our Nepal cultural tour, you may choose from a wide variety of lodging options that suit various tastes and price ranges. There are good alternatives available whether you’re venturing into the peaceful countryside or experiencing vibrant cities like Pokhara and Kathmandu. Cities have a wide range of hotels that provide comfortable stays, from opulent places with modern facilities like Wi-Fi, attached bathrooms, and in-house eateries to lodges that are affordable.

In certain locations, eco-lodges are available for those who want to travel sustainably while yet enjoying a nice stay. Travelers may anticipate a delicious food adventure that highlights the many cuisines and traditional foods of the nation during a Nepal cultural trip. It is essential to the cultural experience to sample Nepali food, and there will be plenty of chances for tourists to do so. The staple dish of Nepali cuisine is dal bhat, a hearty concoction of white rice, soupy lentils, and veg/non-veg curries that are frequently accompanied by chutneys.

Another delectable food to try is Momo, which are dumplings stuffed with either meat or vegetables. You should try the special Nepalese tea, or “chiya,” at least once during this tour. Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and other spices are added to this milky tea to create a warm, fragrant beverage that may be savored all day. There are several locally made beers available for individuals who like alcoholic drinks, including well-known labels like Gorkha Strong, Arna, Everest Beer, etc. Travelers may also sample “raksi,” a conventionally distilled alcoholic beverage produced from berries or grains that are often savored at festivals and special events.

Alternative routes

The alternative routes of the Cultural Nepal Tour include going on a short exploration tour to the outskirts and neighboring sites of Kathmandu. Another alternative is also to visit the villages near Pokhara and stay overnight. These villages let you view the most amazing view of the entire Pokhara along with a view of the Annapurna Himalayan Range.

Gadgets Charging & Internet

Since we are not traveling to the remote regions of Nepal, you will be able to charge your gadget throughout the tour. However, there might be power outages sometimes. Internet is available for the most part of the tour, obviously, you will not find Wi-Fi in the jungle and river banks of Chitwan National Park. Outside of that, you will have Wi-Fi available at every stop me wake on the tour. If you want to access the internet deep in the jungles of Chitwan or while in the middle of Phewa Lake, you can use your sim connectivity.

Your Extra expenses

As much as we would like to, we just can not cover all the expenses during the trek. Expenses like your visa fees upon arrival, additional meals outside of the 3 meals we provide each day, additional accommodations in case we get stuck in a city, flight fares, tips for the guide and driver, travel insurance, any personal expenses, drinks of any kind, and anything not mentioned as inclusive.

What to expect

After you arrive at the international airport in Kathmandu, we start the Cultural Nepal Tour. Our welcoming representative will greet you and arrange for a ride to your accommodation. On the first morning of our Nepal Cultural Tour, we take a guided tour of Bouddhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swayambhunath Stupa, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites. A visit to these locations will allow you to discover not only cultural facets but also breathtaking architectural splendor that will amaze you for a very long time.

Unlike other tours, ours to Nepal will involve not just sightseeing but also engaging with the people to learn about their way of life. We are able to know and comprehend one another better as a result. We warm-heartedly invite travelers from every corner of the globe to participate in our Cultural Nepal Tour, where they will have the opportunity to see the greatest natural landmarks, villages, and attractions that Nepalese culture and tradition have to offer. We are able to provide a Cultural Nepal Tour at any time of year, and we are accommodating when it comes to tailoring the itinerary to your preferences.

Absolutely, there are two ways to shorten this trip. The first way is to remove certain stops from the itinerary or avoid spending time sightseeing in a certain city. Meanwhile, the other way is to travel by plane through cities. The highway from Kathmandu to Pokhara is windy which takes time to travel, you can avoid that by just taking a 25-minute plane ride to Pokhara from Kathmandu.

However, flight fares will add additional expense as they are not a part of the package like land transportation.
