After breakfast, we’ll head to the home terminal of Kathmandu Airport for your morning flight to Lukla, where your Everest Base Camp Heli Trek begins. We’ll be flying for thirty to forty-five minutes from Kathmandu to Lukla.
After landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airfield in Lukla, you’ll get to know your porters and crew, then start trekking.We’ll be trekking for three to four hours to reach Phakding from Lukla, covering an 8-kilometer distance. We’ll pass through Sherpa villages, conifer forests, and many suspension bridges across the Dudh Koshi Khola River.
After reaching here, we’ll settle into our tea house, and you can also explore the area or chat with the welcoming locals.

Our third day of the Everest Base Camp Heli Trek begins immediately following the great morning breakfast. We’ll walk through a thick pine forest by the side of the Dudh Koshi Khola, crossing numerous historic suspension bridges, as well as the Hillary Suspension Bridge.

Instead of sitting idle, you can hike to Thame, explore Khunde, or simply browse Namche Bazaar. You can also visit the Sherpa museum, which displays the region’s rich heritage, including Sherpa traditional relics and a Yeti skull. Another option is to visit the Tourist Visitor Center, that is nearby to the Sagarmatha National Park head office.
There are exhibits on the first people to climb Everest, information about Sherpa culture, and details about the unique plants and animals of the Everest region. We’ll spend the final night in Namche Bazaar getting ready for the next day’s adventure on this Everest Base Camp Heli Trek.

Today, after our delicious meal, we’ll depart Namche Bazaar early in the morning for Tengboche. We’ll hike for 5-6 hours along the flowing waters of the Dudh Koshi River, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. We’ll cross a suspension bridge before tackling a difficult uphill journey to the renowned Tengboche Monastery.
This monastery is not only a sacred area but also provides a peaceful setting with breathtaking vistas of Everest, Lhotse, and Kongde peaks. When we reach Tengboche, you’ll feel the air getting cooler and see the panoramic views of Kwande, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kantega, Ama Dablam, and Everest. We’ll settle here tonight on this Everest Base Camp Heli Trek itinerary.

We’ll head to Dingboche from Tengboche on our Everest Base Camp Heli Trek itinerary after a hearty breakfast in the teahouse. We’ll be covering about 10 kilometers to reach our destination in 6 to 7 hours. Our walk begins with a descent providing stunning views of Ama Dablam, a famous peak in the region of Khumbu.
We’ll stroll through lush rhododendron forests, contrasting vividly with the snowy peaks in the background. We’ll travel through charming Sherpa villages like Debuche and Pangboche after the initial descent. As we ascend towards Somare, you’ll get closer views of Mt. Ama Dablam before reaching a point where the trail splits towards Pheriche and Dingboche.
We’ll then enter the Imja Valley towards Dingboche.Dingboche has the nickname “Summer Valley” for its protective walls stretching over a kilometer to shield crops from wind and animals. We’ll stay overnight at the teahouse ending the sixth day of your Everest Base Camp Trek which also marks half completion of your journey as well.

You have options like exploring Nangkartshang Peak just above Dingboche and nearby villages like Chukkung and Imja, or simply taking it easy to prepare for the next stretch of the journey. The trek to Chukkung Valley Hill takes a few hours but rewards you with breathtaking views.
The Nangkartshang Peak Walk will offer you with a 360-degree vista of the snow-capped peaks. Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu tower in the distance, while the Khumbu Valley stretches under us, filled with Sherpa homes and terraced crops.
After hiking these optional places, we’ll head back to Dingboche and unwind at the teahouse. We recommend you take a well-deserved rest after this fulfilling day of trekking and exploration so that you will have energy for the next day on this Everest Base Camp Heli Return Trek.

Our eight-day Everest Base Camp Heli Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche begins with a difficult ascent up a rocky path. After an hour of trekking over Himalayan pasturelands, we’ll arrive at Dughlaphedi, a small Sherpa town at 4,620 meters. We’ll pass via a big glacier moraine before stopping for refreshments at Dughla.
We’ll get to the trail intersection that leads to Gokyo Lakes and Cho-La Pass. The trail continues in a milder elevation until we reach Lobuche. Along the journey, you may observe towering peaks such as Khumbuste, Nuptse, Lingtren, and Pumori looming over the landscape.
Today’s hike is challenging and exhausting. We can see a glimpse of remote mountain life after reaching Lobuche. We’ll settle here for the night in a teahouse, preparing for the next leg of your trek towards EBC of your Everest Base Camp Heli Trek.

On this ninth day of the Everest Base Camp Heli Trek, this journey will take you to the highlights of your Everest Base Camp trek. You start your day with a walk to Gorakshep, which is the highest human settlement on earth.
After having your meal, we will begin and proceed through the rocky place which is around the high mountains. We walk beside the magnificent Khumbu Glacier on our approach to Gorakshep, passing the pyramid-shaped signpost enroute. Our ascent will take us to Thangma Riju, a viewpoint with a breathtaking 360-degree vista of snow-capped peaks including Pumori and Lingtren.
Today’s journey will be very challenging, with ups and downs requiring physical endurance and mental focus. After reaching Gorakshep, we’ll take a quick break and eat our lunch. Afterward, we’ll continue the climb to Everest Base Camp.From here, we’ll have to cover the distance of 3.5 kilometers crossing the glacier to reach the Everest Base Camp (EBC) area.
At EBC (5346 m), you shall be able to see the magnificent Mt. Khutse, Mt. Pumori, and Mt. Changste along with the Khumbu Glacier and Icefall. We will leave this matchless view to return to Gorakshep, where we will sleep for the whole night, that will be the last day of our Everest Base Camp Heli Trek.

On the last day of the Everest Base Camp Heli Trek, we will begin our journey early in the morning. One of the highlights of the trek is the top point, which is Kalapatthar, where you will see the sun rising behind the mountain of Everest.
After that, you will be able to see the surrounding 360° a great way to get a view of Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Changste, and Mt. Everest.The trail to Kalapatthar is lined with prayer flags, which add a spiritual touch. We will have a magnificent tour of Kalapatthar and then head back to Gorakshep for a well-earned breakfast. Next, we’ll head to the helicopter take-off spot, Gorakshep.
It can take around 1.5 hours to go from Gorakshep to Kathmandu. The helicopter journey, that passes the peaks, is an excellent experience because it allows us to discover the glaciers, valleys, and villages from the sky. It will have to be refueled in Lukla before proceeding to Kathmandu. We will detour off to the hotel from the airport in Kathmandu to finally put an end to the tenth day of your Everest Base Camp Heli Trek journey.

Today is the eleventh day of your Everest Base Camp Heli Trek. You will spend the day exploring Kathmandu Valley, commencing with breakfast in the morning. We will drive to the tourist spots in Kathmandu. Such landmarks include the Swayambhunath Buddhist stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Hanuman Dhoka and many more.
Next, we’re going to go to Bhaktapur and visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Changu Narayan Temple, and sample the famous Bhaktapur yogurt in the evening. These are the spots exhibiting a wide variety of religious, cultural, and historical Kathmandu Valley heritage.
We will throw you a warm fare well dinner at a typical Nepalese restaurant in the evening. It will also mark your last night in Nepal as your Everest Base Camp heli Trek almost ends.
