It is designed to cover most aspects and features of Langtang Gosaikunda lake trek Region in a short time of 2 weeks. Your first day of the trip starts with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu then our representative will be there waiting for you to pick you up from the airport to the Hotel by private vehicle. we will organize welcome dinner at Nepali tradition restaurant with cultural show.

On the second day of your itinerary, you will be taken to Syabrubesi for an actual trekking journey. After your fresh morning in Kathmandu and with breakfast at the Hotel, your pick-up vehicle will be ready to take you on the road trip of nearly 122 km distance from the city of Kathmandu. It approximately takes you the drive duration of 8 to 9 hours.
This drive itself is going to be a scenic journey for you as It takes you through the mid hill highway, which covers the landscapes and through the bank of the Trishuli River. This consists of small villages and several small towns. The scenic view also covers the view of different farm terraces and traditional villages.
After the end of the Trishuli river bank, the road starts to take uphill through Dunche. From Dunche it just takes another hour to reach the beautiful village of Syabrubesi. It is a small and beautiful settlement that lies between two big hills, becoming the gateway for the Langtang Region. Your overnight stay will be at Syabrubesi.

After the morning breakfast at Syabrubesi, the trekking journey heads towards the Lama Hotel. The trail goes through and alongside the Bhote Koshi River. After a few walks and crossing the suspension bridges, you will get to see the bug Rhododendron forest.
This forest consists of woods and lush greenery. You will also encounter wildlife like, Leopards, Himalayan black bears, etc. After crossing this section, you will reach the Bamboo. There you will travel through several Tibetan villages and similar living cultures of people.
With some distance, another forest will arrive, where Rhododendron and oak trees found to be covering the forest until the arrival of Rimche. From there an ascent to Lama Hotel starts.
Crossing the streams and se Tamang villages with the traditional living, with the arrival of a waterfall on your way, you will reach the Lama Hotel. Lama Hotel is a beautiful village with a surrounding, forest, some hotels, and guesthouses. Your overnight stay will be at the Lama Hotel.

With the morning breakfast, the trekking journey will start to reach Mundu Village. The trek to Mundu Village covers slightly inclined routes and is easier than other days of the itinerary. And the trail up to the Mundu Village is filled with beautiful journeys.
After crossing the rhododendron forest and Langtang river, the beauty of colorful landscapes will arrive. With further walking the views of the mountain peaks start to widen and the majestic views of the landscapes.
After reaching another ridge of Langtang River, the journey will head towards the Ghodatabela, which is just a far bit from there. With some ascents from Ghodatabela, the descent begins until the moraine glacier.
It is a very beautiful glacier that lies with the small beautiful Langtang Valley alongside It. Just above the Langtang valley, you will get to the Mundu. Your overnight stay will be at a guesthouse in Mundu Village.

After breakfast, you will leave the Mundo to head towards another point called Kyanjin Gompa. The journey up to the Gompa offers you a spectacular view and scenery of the Himalayan range. The uphill ascending trail takes you to the Sindum, then Yamphu. After the Yamphu, the journey begins to get inside the Himalayan forest.
The trail then moves to the Laja Khola, and with some more walk, it takes you to the viewpoint offering you the stunning view of Kinshung and Lirung icefall. After the Laja Khola, with some decent Kyangjin Gomba will arrive. The Kyanjin Gompa lies between the great mountain peaks and the ancient gompas. It also offers majestic views of the surrounding mountains.

This day is for your acclimatizing to the surrounding. You get to see and explore the village during your day. And a hike to Tsergo Ri in day time. You will see several gumbas all across the village.
There you can participate in the morning prayer with the beautiful scenery of mountain ranges. With the breakfast at Kyanjin Gompa, your day hike to Tsergo Ri will begin. It is going to be a little difficult climb up to the top of the hill. It is also difficult as it is not that well marked routes to reach to the top.
Once you reach to the top of the hill, you will get the majestic views of Himalayan peaks including, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa and the following range. After the lunch in there, you will ascend down back to the Kyanjin Gompa.
The hike also covers the very scenic views of mountain range and hill landscapes. After reaching back to the Kyanjin Gompa, you can continue to explore where you can see cheese factory. Your overnight stay will be at Kyanjin Gompa.

This day is about to return back to the Lama Hotel. After the morning breakfast fast you will have to start the trekking journey leaving the village. This journey is also filled with the most beautiful sceneries, of this trek. This day is more easier than other as it consists of very mostly the down hill routes.
You will cross the several rivers and suspension bridges, until you reach back to the Lama Hotel. With the journey through lush greenery, forest and some of the waterfalls you will arrive to the Lama Hotel. The overnight stay will be managed at Lama Hotel.

Same as other day the trek starts with the morning breakfast at Lama Hotel. We will head towards the Thulo Syabru. It starts with the down steps of the hill.
After some descend you will get to see the goats gazing at the hill slopes. It is a beautiful thing to witness. Again the Langtang river will arrive after some descend and journey starts with forest, oaks, pine and Rhododendron.
The trail is full of natural beauty and the breathtaking landscapes of Himalayan with the backdrop of mountain peaks. Just passing through some of these forest you will arrive at Thulo Syabru. It is a small settlement of local people with a small farming terrace within the slope of the hills. The overnight stay will be at Syabru.

Form here, the Langtang Trek comes to an end or its the end point of the trekking journey of Langtang Trek. But our journey continues as our other destination of Gosaikunda still remains.
So, with the morning breakfast we will head towards the Singh Ghomba for further trekking. With some steep paths, you will see Thurman and Nagathali from the distance.
With some further walk of about an hour you will arrive at the Forpang Danda, where lunch is done. After the passing of Forpang, the deep high altitude line forest will arrive. There you can have the journey of breathtaking nature walk. If in Spring there you see the blooming forest flowers as well as some in other seasons too.
And after the slight ascend, the Singh Ghomba will arrive. Singh Ghomba is waiting for you with the spectacular view of landscapes with the backdrops of mountain peaks. Your overnight stay will be managed in Singh Ghomba.

This is the day where you get to reach the holy lake of Gosaikunda. As other days, the trek begins with morning. The trek follows the light ascent and slightly inclined route through colorful forest and the views of mountain peaks.
With some more ascent you will reach to the Cholongpat, where you get to have your breakfast. Form there the vertical steeps will start. So, after climbing some ascend you will reach to the top of Lauribina, from there you will see the magnificent view of Ganesh Himal.
And after passing some more ascend you will get to the ridge, and after crossing it you will arrive to the lake of Gosaikunda. It is a very important site and a holy lake for the followers of Hindu and Buddhist.
It is also a very beautiful lake which lies between high mountain peaks and surrounding glaciers. With some more further walk from there you will arrive or the Gosaikunda Village. Your overnight stay will be at Gosaikunda Village.

This day offers you exciting climb of Surya Peak through the terrain of Himalayan region. After the breakfast fast at Gosaikunda you will have to move your steps towards the uphill peak of Surya Peak.
The trek goes through the remote paths, narrow steps and rocky terrains. The journey itself covers the majestic and diverse beauty of Himalayan range. With the continuous climb of 4 to 5 hours you will arrive to the top of Surya Peak which has the altitude of 5145m form the sea level.
From the top of the peak you will get a chance to witness the spectacular views of mountain range and diverse collection of lakes including Surya Lake, Aama Lake, Swaraswati Lake, Gosaikunda lake, Dudh lake, Ganesh Lake, Chandra Lake, Ragat Lake, Bhairab lake and other small fellow lakes.
Then after the Surya Peak, we will ascend down back to the Gosaikunda Lake. Overnight will be there at Gosaikunda.

After the morning breakfast with the refreshing air of mountains, we will head towards the another point of this trek to Dhumche. This day covers the massive down fall in altitude. It gets the massive fall to the 1950m from the massive altitude of 4380m from the sea level.
So, you can expect this day to be a great one. With some descend, you will arrive to the Chandanbari, where the lunch will be held. And to see the cheese factory and the monastery around it. After some of the passing through Chandanbari, we will continue our trekking journey to the Dhunche.
The journey of this day also passes through lush greenery, Rhododendron forest and traditional villages. After the walk of 4 to 5 hours from Chandanbari you will arrive to the Town of Dhunche. It’s the headquarter of Rasuwa District. And it also serve as the midpoint of treks in Langtang Region and Gosaikunda trail. So, this makes Dhunche a very good resting and the end points of the treks.
Your overnight stay will be at Dhunche.

This is the last day of actual trekking journey. After the breakfast at Dhunche, you will be taken back to the Kathmandu in private vehicle. This takes you the drive of approximately 8 to 9 hours of drive to reach to the valley of Kathmandu form Dhunche. Your overnight stay will be at Hotel in Kathmandu.

As Kathmandu is itself a great tourist attraction because of it’s culture and ancient temples, monasteries and historical sites. So, returning back without having the sightseeing in Kathmandu is a very bitter things to have. There fore the day before your departure will be a sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu valley.
This tour will take you to the important religious sites and historical significance places. Pashupatinath Temple will be your witnessing place where you will see the unique rituals of Hindus worshipping and burning the dead ones.
After Pashupatinath you will taken to the Boudhanath Stupa which is located at the center of the city. It is a popular religions site and a beautiful stupa which attracts visitors and prayers from all around the world. You will see a lot of tourist and prayers. And same goes with the Sambhunath Stupa where you will witness a big stupa at the small hill lock.
You will be taken to Patan Durbar Square which carries very important historical significance in the history of Nepal. Thereafter you will also be taken to the Kathmandu Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square for the sightseeing. This all carries the massive historical significance for Nepalese History.
You will see different types of palaces and temples which are built back to the centuries. All this is done with the private vehicle until back to the Hotel. Your overnight stay will be at the Hotel with Farewell Dinner.

It covers the proper geography of the Himalayas and its features as well as the factors attached to it. Langtang is always been a very diverse trek to have over the landscapes of high altitude. So, the season affects the journey over there. But there is no specific best time to have a trekking in Langtang Gosaikunda lake as it fully depends upon the personal experience as the different seasons bring different features with them. But two Spring and Autumn are considered the best times to a trekking in Langtang Gosaikunda lake.

There are several steep and lengthy ascents along the route, and the first three consecutive days of the trek include an ascent of over 2,000 meters. The trail winds through picturesque woodlands and steadily climbs till day 4. Day 5 will see you starting at 3,870 meters, which could prove to be difficult for inexperienced climbers. On day six, if you are adequately prepared and in good physical condition, you may trek to Kyanjin Ri early in the morning.

The accommodation will be at Teahouse and Guesthouses during the trekking days and at the standard hotel during the arrival in big cities and towns. Your meal will be covered as Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Most of the menus are included with Dhal Bhat Tarkari, Chowmein, Noodles, Eggs, and other local cuisine. During your trekking journey, you also find some of the guesthouse which offers some of the western dishes like pizza, soups, and pasta.
Also, do not expect it to be that standard as you find in the cities like Kathmandu as the Teahouses there are running on very limited resources. All the basic required logistics will be covered.
It is a long trek that covers more than 2 weeks of the itinerary. So, you need a pretty good preparation before you head on your journey. You need to carry some extra clothes for you, which may be enough during your journey. Always carry an extra pair of shoes which are comfortable and in good condition as there is no chance of getting another pair for you if you find fault during the journey.
You are provided some trekking equipment which is essential during the ascents and descends during the trekking days but you can keep some extra equipment and essential gear for you if you think you need them the most during the trek. Do not carry unusual and unnecessary things that are not that essential during the trekking journey. Carry only if you need the most on a daily basis in your trek. And about fitness, you need to be in good shape and a good walking ability. The Langtang Gosaikunda lake trek consists of high ascent and descent with hours of continuous walking over the Himalayan terrain and ridges.
So, it is very necessary to be in good shape and good health. Otherwise, it may or can be a very stannous hard journey for you and you may have to give up in the middle of somewhere in the journey. You need a pair of permits to enter or get access to the Langtang Gosaikunda lake trek as it falls under the area of National Park and Conversation Area. You need to have a permit from LNPEP (Langtang National Park Entry Permits), and another from TIMS ( Trekking Information Management System). Without these two permits, you are not able or permitted to enter and get access to the Langtang Gosaikunda lake trek.
